The Back Cove provides amazing sunsets and sunrises and there is always plenty of Mainers and visitors walking, riding bikes, running or walking their dogs on this groomed path. Parking is available from several spots on the Back Cove so, you can make this walk as long or short as you like. The total loop is a little more than 3 miles but, of course, you can walk or run any portion of the loop. Maybe you have already visited and strolled through the Old Port, seen all of the sites or you’ve just moved to Maine.
