This community trail runs along the banks of the Kennebec River and offers users a scenic 6.5 mile jaunt through some of the prettiest parts of the area. Whether you start in Gardiner and walk through Farmingdale and Hallowell to end in Augusta or vice versa you may be surprised at what you see along the way. It’s not uncommon to catch sites of breath-taking views of the river. Often times can can catch site of eagles and ospreys preying on fish.
