Southworth Planetarium: Where The Stars Dance

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall: The Southworth Planetarium is a wonderful place to visit. An exhibit provided by the National Geographic Society showcases the solar system. There is also an interactive solar system on computer that is available to explore while waiting for the light show to begin. The light shows are designed to educate both children and adults on our solar system, comets, what makes the Northern Lights, and there’s even a show about dinosaurs. These shows are a great way for you to spend time with your children and learn together about the amazing aspects of our world and beyond. Each show is designed for particular age groups. So make sure you check the show for the suggested age range so that your family gets the most out of the experience.
