Mount Desert Island Marathon: A Runners Paradise

Fall: Looking for the perfect destination to run a marathon? Look no further than Maine’s pristine, Mount Desert Island Marathon. This area is home to the ever famous Acadia National Park which offers one of the most beautiful and complete vacation spots in the entire United States. The Mount Desert Island Marathon course is in a word, breathtaking! It offers runners birds-eye views of the vast, blue expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, charming island village centers and the pink granite mountains.
