Summer: Maine is vacationland and if you own an RV and are looking for the perfect place to go consider visiting any one of these. Located in Old Orchard Beach Wild Acres RV Resort is a great place to stay. The campground offers modern RV hook-ups with amenities that will keep you whole family entertained. Close to miles of white sand beaches and the famous Palace Playland Amusement Park you will have plenty to pick from on or off site. The RV park offers daily activities, pools, a mini golf course and even boast it's own stocked fishing pond. If you want a slightly different change of pace you may want to try Flagg's RV park located the Wells area. This campground is quiet and only feet from Long Sands Beach. You can hear the ocean from your fire pit and smell the fresh salty air. Close to York Wild Kingdom and all the amenities of the Southern Coast it's a great

place to spend a few days or even a few weeks. The Kittery Outlets are just a bit down the road and with several lighthouses like Nubble Light in the area you will find this is the perfect vacation spot. A little further up the coast in Camden there is Camden Hills RV Resort. With views of Penobscot Bay this campground has a pool, store and planned activities on a nightly basis. The area boast both the mountains and the sea. A trip up Mt. Battie or down to the harbor where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and small beaches to explore. Freeport and it's outlets are not far and this is a perfect stop on your way further up Route 1 toward the Bar Harbor area. If you have and RV and haven't got a place to go, try one of these sites in Maine, you'll be glad you did!
