Summer: York Beach is a destination stop for many visitors to Maine and with so many things to do there it's obvious why. The beach along draws visitors from all over, miles of lush sand beaches with the blue ocean water makes it the perfect place to spend time. In the center of this seaside town you will find the largest zoo in Maine along with amusement rides and entertainment for the entire family. Nubble Lighthouse can be seen from Soheir Park in York and is one of the prettiest lighthouses in New England. In addition to offering some of the best restaurants and logding York

also has a "wild" side to it. Mt. Agamenticus covers 30000 acres in the Southern Maine region and offers miles of hiking and biking trails and on a clear day visitors can see Boston from the top. The beauty of York is that it is close to many other destination spots in Maine such as Portland which only a thirty minute drive and Kittery which is also close. York Beach offers more to do than just sitting on the beach, come check it out!
