Posted by mainetodo on Tuesday, January 22 @ 16:53:23 PST

Winter; The Rangley Lakes region is a winter paradise. Miles of snowmobiling trails, ice fishing on the lake and skiing Saddleback. Whether you are a downhill junkie or a cross country cruiser, this mountain offers it all. The cross country ski center offers skiers 40 trails on the lower half of the mountain. These trails are groomed for perfection and offer traditional trails along with skating lanes for the more advanced. Looking for great downhill skiing, Saddleback has

it and has snow! The mountain averages 200 inches per season and has runs that range from beginner bunny slopes to exhilarating descents that will make your heart go to your throat! The view of the lake from the mountain is breathtaking and there usually aren’t the crowds that you can often times encounter at some of the other mountains in Maine. If you need rentals they have them and lessons as well for all levels.
