Winter: Liberty Tool Company has been in existence since 1971. If you have never heard of it and you love to find antique tools, antiquarian books, magazines and other unique items, than a visit is in order. The shop is located on Main Street in Liberty. The shop is open until mid-January and then closes for winter restocking. Come March they celebrate their much anticipated “Rite of Spring” sale in which
Liberty Tool opens it’s well restocked store up for the rest of the year. Liberty Tools offers the largest collection of tools from woodworking tools to precision machinist tools, the shelves are overflowing with so much it’s hard to take it all in! All the tools are obtained from estate sales, garage and basement clean outs and private sales from around the New England. It’s like going on a mini-treasure hunt when you enter and you never know what you may find!
