Maine Things To Do International Snowmobile Weekend: Travel Along The Border

Winter: If you are in the northern part of the state or traveling up that way the first weekend in February you may want to swing in and check out the annual International Snowmobile Weekend. This festival is a three day long event which is a shared celebration with their neighbors in New Brunswick, Canada. The festival is kicked off with the annual International Lucky run which is a 400 mile trail system that runs along

and sometimes crosses into Canada. Participants can enjoy the scenic groomed trails and ride along the Maine/Canadian border. Participants of the International Snowmobile Weekend celebrate with an evening party, a casino night, a community dinner live music and dancing and a moonlight snowmobile drag racing competition.
