Winter,Spring,Summer & Fall The Lyric Music Theater located in South Portland is a community theater at its finest. This community theater has been dedicated to producing quality musicals for the entertainment of audiences throughout Southern Maine. Founded in 1952, they have been producing four musicals each season, from September to May, in the Cedric Thomas Playhouse at 176 Sawyer Street. With productions like Phantom and Oklahoma, its like a little

piece of Broadway right in our own backyard. From the sets, to the costumes to the actors and actress, everyone is involved in creating these productions for visitors to enjoy.
