Maine Things To Do Trains & Christmas Trees: A Train Lovers Dream

Fall: Train lovers this is your event! South Paris visitors to the McLaughlin Garden host a special event every December with their barn fully decked out and with marvelous displays of trains. Known as the annual Trees & Trains event locally, it's a fun filled event that many looks forward to all year. This is a train lovers paradise with elaborate and festive model train displays created by the Maine Garden Railway Society and they do a great job filling the 1850's

barn and historic house. There will be many train represented at this annual community event, including an antique Lionel set and a model trolley. The garden house is adorned in a "Christmas around the world" theme and open for viewing as well. The antique post and beam barn is beautifully decorated with locally cut evergreen trees, garlands and wreaths which adds to the holiday cheer, all aboard!
