Fall,Winter: Mainers have been known as “maineiacs” by outsiders for years. In honor of that title, the Lewiston Maniacs semi-pro hockey team lives up to their name. This team has been entertaining crowds with the fast pace game of hockey and the fans love them! If you have not been to see a game yet, you won’t be disappointed. The Maineiacs are part of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and play in Lewiston at the Coliseum. The fan following of this team makes

The fans tend to get a little crazy when the maniacs hit the ice and you can definitely feel the excitement in the air when the team makes a fast break away toward the net and nails a slap shot past the goalie!
