Maine Things To Do Christmas Cove: A Visit to the Unique Yankee B & B
Posted by mainetodo on Wednesday, November 28 @ 16:58:04 PST

Fall: Local legend has it that one Christmas Eve in the early 1600's, explorer Captain John Smith anchored in "Christmas Cove". The name stuck and Christmas Cove has been a safe harbor for local fishing boats, yachts and watercrafts ever since. If you have never been there then, this is the perfect time of year far from tourist season, to a drive down the coast and check out Chirstmas Cove. While you are there you should plan to spend a night or two at the Unique Yankee B&B. This cozy B&B at Christmas Cove in South Bristol is a cozy getaway. There are many exciting destinations and activities

available in mid-coast Maine. The Unique Yankee features it's own ocean observatory where visitors can see Johns Bay Pemaquid Point and, on a clear day, Mohegan Island. The whole area is beautiful and during this time of year not crowded which is always a plus. Why not try one of their special overnight package, it could be fun!
