Maine Things To Do Local Charities: Tis' The Season For Giving
Posted by mainetodo on Tuesday, November 27 @ 17:04:13 PST

Fall: Tis’ the season for giving so why not help out in your local community by volunteering. Many area food banks need donations or pick a card of the Giving Tree and help out a less fortunate person this holiday season. There are many charities to choose from and whether it is your time or your money it’s definitely a gift that pays you back. In addition

to holiday related charitable causes there is also the Coats for Kids annual giving drive. Many children will only have a warm coat this winter because of this program. So don’t get so caught during this holiday season that you forget to give something back. They may never get to say thank you personally but, it’s all part of the spirit of Christmas!
