Maine Things To Do A Christmas Carol: Portland Stage Company's Christmas Special
Posted by mainetodo on Tuesday, November 27 @ 16:53:23 PST

Fall: Portland Stage Company’s presentation of A Christmas Carol remains remarkably trueto form to Dickens’ original book. The story seems to come alive allowing the audience to get lost in the traditional Dickens tale. You need to come and enjoy the experience of Scrooge’s encounters with the spirits of past, present, and yet-to-come in the way that the author intended. Spend the evening with the cast of A Christmas Story who really bring this production home with their acting and lush costumes. You will find yourself getting lost as you travel back in time to

a Victorian England. You will see the ghosts of the past visit Scrooge reminding him of the important things and helping this lonely old miser regain his heart. Portland Stage Company does a fabulous job with their classic production. The play opens the last weekend of November and runs through until Christmas, don’t miss out on this classic treasure!
