Maine Things To Do The Magic Of Christmas: The Portland Symphony Orchestra's Seasonal Event
Posted by mainetodo on Sunday, November 25 @ 17:30:52 PST

Fall: The Magic of Christmas, what a wonderful way to spend an evening enjoying the Portland Symphony Orchestra perform. This annual Christmas event runs through the weekend before Christmas. It is magical, to hear the orchestra perform the classics such as Sleigh Ride and the Hallelujah chorus from the Messiah. The chorus and sing along portion

of the show makes for a festive event for the whole family. There are matinee shows available for the young or old and Merrill Auditorium is the perfect spot for such a wonderful musical event. I hear those sleigh bells ringing, so don’t miss out. One of my favorite parts is the reading of The Night Before Christmas. Each season there are special guest and with 14 show times to choose from you just can’t beat the Magic of Christmas.
