Maine Things To Do Ogunquit In The Winter: You Have To See What You Are Missing
Posted by mainetodo on Sunday, November 25 @ 17:28:45 PST

Fall: Ogunquit isn’t just a summer resort town. Come early December the town opens their doors and welcomes guest from all over to help celebrate Christmas By the Sea and they have been doing this for over 20 years now. With so many activities for all ages, this is a fun place to go if you are looking for a way to kick off the holiday season. Carolers canvas the streets with a community concert

and bonfire for opening night. Saturday brings a whole host of activities from hayride, a craft fair, a visit from Santa, Chowder and Chocolate festival, candle walk and tree lighting. On Sunday you certainly should take advantage of the discount shopping and free gift wrapping service available. With so much to do you might as well plan an overnight if you are coming from away. It’s a fun way to spend a weekend by the sea.
