Fall With the holiday season fast approaching the Maine craft show circuit is getting into full swing. These events draw hundreds of holiday shoppers looking for unique, maine made gifts and they usually aren't disappointed. Both Augusta and Portland offer big craft shows annually. The Maine Made Craft Fair has been held at the Augusta Armory for the last 24 years and is a great place to get some shopping done for those who are on your holiday

gift giving list. The Christmas Craft Show held in Portland is always full of great homemade items from jewelry, to puzzles, to knitted items and food. The crowds tend to thin out a bit in the afternoon hours but the morning rush is sure to put you in the holiday shopping spirit. In addition to great gifts there is also food available for purchase that will keep you shopping all day long. So why not try a little local holiday shopping and stop in at one of the states many holiday craft shows.
