Summer: Kite flying can be an inexpensive way to have some fun. Find a wide open space and let the line out and watch the wind do it's magic taking that kite to heights only birds can soar! It doesn't matter where you fly a kite, on the beach or at the park and it's not just kids who love them. The beauty of kites is it brings out the kid in all of us. If you really want to see a spectacular site then travel to Ogunquit Beach for the Capriccio Festival of Kites. At this one day event, you

can see as many as 500 kites in the sky at one time. This annual event attracts kite enthusiast from all over. They even give free kites to the kids that attend this fun filled kiting event. Even if you can't make it to this festival, you can stop at your local store and spend $2.00 on a kite and make an afternoon of memories and maybe lifetime hobby of kite flying.
