Maine Things To Do North Atlantic Blues Festival: Rockin' At Rockland's Harbor Park!
Posted by mainetodo on Monday, June 04 @ 08:39:21 PDT

Summer: Nothing beats sitting in Rockland's Harbor Park on a warm day in July listening to some of the best blues music live. Picturesque harbor scenes are the background for one of the most prestigious music festivals on the East Coast. The North American Blues Festival is a two day outdoor concert jammed packed with great music, great food and great surroundings. The festival offers a "Club Crawl" to those over 21. Attendees get special bracelets which allow them access to the many clubs featuring many nationally recognized acts as well as new-comers.

The Maine Eastern Railroad runs a specially scheduled "Blues Train" for those who want to avoid the delays Route 1 traffic. The train delivers festival goers one block from Harbor Park's gates. Food, beer and wine service is available for train riders and tickets for the festival are combined with your train ticket. So if you are feeling the blues or just want a couple of days of great entertainment, do not miss the North American Blues Festival this July!
