Summer: Come enjoy the festivities every August at the Lewiston Railroad Park and Auburn Festival Plaza. Go for a hot air balloon ride and take in the breathtaking views of Maine. Watch the morning and evening balloon launch that colors the sky with hot air balloons of all shapes, sizes and
hues. Live entertainment featuring local and regional acts, takes place at both venues throughout the weekend festival. Kids’ games, face painting, and an awesome fireworks and moon light balloon show make this event a family fun weekend for sure. Dad can even try his luck in the Maine clam eating contest. Stroll through the craft and trade show or grab a bite to eat at any of the many food vendors.
