Maine Things To Do Red's Eats: Roadside Food At Its Finest
Posted by mainetodo on Wednesday, January 03 @ 06:32:09 PST

Summer: Driving north on Route 1 you wouldn't even notice Red's Eats if it weren't for the huge line out front. Open since 1938 this small roadside food stand has been serving up some of the tastiest food in the state and has become a destination of its own. Most folks come to Red's for their world renowned lobster rolls, killer fried clams, and hot dogs with bacon and cheese. Prepare yourself for no frills dining at it's best, as Red's is more of a place to grab a great bite to eat and go. Many folks stop for food here and then enjoy a

leisurely stroll throught the nearby town of Wiscasset. Red's makes a great pit stop while on a Maine coastal tour. Come see for yourself why folks have been lining up to eat a Red's Eats for years.
