Maine Things To Do Acadia National Park: This Place Rocks!

Spring, Summer, Fall: From the shear granite cliffs rising from the ocean to the smooth rolling wind swept peaks of pink granite, Acadia National Park showcases Maine's rocky and rugged coastline. Visitors here can enjoy the parks rocky terrain by gentle to moderate hiking trails or explore these ledges along the coast without a trail. For the more adventurous the park has many easily accessible rock climbing spots that will challenge everyone from first time climbers to well seasoned climbing junkies. Some spots to check out are Otter Cliffs, South Bubble, Great Head, South Wall, and the Central Slabs. There are also limitless

locations for bouldering around the island that are fun to discover on your own. Make sure to check local conditions, and rules and regulations and take all saftely precations while planning for your adventure. Rock on!
