Maine Things To Do Mount Katahdin: Amazing View No Hiking Required
Posted by mainetodo on Tuesday, December 19 @ 09:51:51 PST

Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall: At 5268 feet tall Mount Katahdin dominates the landscape near Baxter State Park. The trails leading to the summit here are not for everyone as the the terrain and weather in this region can be formidable even during the summer months. There are many flight services in the Millinocket area offering scenic flights at reasonable prices from 40-100 dollars. The views of the surrounding area from air are priceless. This is an activity that anyone can enjoy,

and the experience is one you won't forget. It's a great way to see the woods and waters of Maine without swatting at the blackflies.
