Maine Things To Do Winterfest Freeport: Where The Snow Comes To Life
Posted by mainetodo on Saturday, December 09 @ 22:35:33 PST

Winter: This winter, don’t miss out on one of Freeport’s newer traditions: Winterfest. You can enjoy watching an ice and snow carving contest that has professional and amateur sculptors from all over the United States competing for first place. This yearly event offers ice fishing, food, raffles, and giveaways. There is also a life size

Luge run, a life size snow slide for the children to use, and an area designated for families and friends to make their own a snowman or other snow creation. The festival also features a winter dance and live concerts from local performers. Winterfest is a great way to get kids and adults interested and involved in our winter season.
