Maine Things To Do Mill Creek Park: A Middle Of Town Getaway
Posted by mainetodo on Saturday, December 09 @ 11:35:24 PST

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall: The Mill Creek Park is a wonderful place to pack up a picnic lunch and spend the day feeding the ducks, or just enjoy a good book. The park is right in the middle of South Portland, but it still provides the calm, quiet atmosphere of a park. The park also has a gazebo where you can sit and enjoy your lunch. It can even be used as the center piece in a wedding ceremony. There is also a bridge that crosses the

pond in the middle of the park that can be used for special occasions. The park also hosts several concerts throughout the year for local bands and folk singers. It also hosts an art show for local artists. The park in Mill Creek is filled with relaxing adventures. In the winter, when the snow starts to fall and the pond freezes, this is a lovely place to bring the whole family. You can pick out your Christmas tree from the local vendor while the kids have some fun in the snow. The park’s pond is also a great ice skating destination for all ages. So if you are looking for something to do with your family, this is a great place to go any time of year.
