Maine Things To Do Berry Picking: Do It Yourself

Summer, Fall: Maine hosts an outstanding number of farms and bogs where you can pick your own berries. Blueberries and raspberries are usually ready by early to mid August. Cumberland and York counties are a good place to start when

picking berries. There are many great pie and muffin recipes available. Don’t forget to take home a few extra pints for friends and family when you return from your New England vacation.
