Maine Things To Do Snowshoeing: A Breath Of Fresh Air
Posted by mainetodo on Monday, November 13 @ 08:54:59 PST

Winter: Snowshoeing is a great way to see the landscape in solitude. It is a great winter activity to break up the cabin fever and take a breath of fresh air. Snowshoe trails are quite prevalent in Maine, many state parks and ski resorts are open to the

public for snowshoeing. Most of the ski resorts will have snowshoe equipment available to rent, so no investment is required. Brief lessons are usually available as well. Next time the shack nasties get you down, get out and strap on a pair of snowshoes.
