Maine Things To Do Portland, Maine: Go To Bat With The Portland Sea Dogs
Posted by mainetodo on Thursday, July 09 @ 06:23:22 PDT

Spring, Summer: If you haven’t been to a Portland Sea Dog’s game, make sure you put it at the top of your to do list this summer. It’s a fun time for all ages and the tickets are pretty cheap to boot. Anywhere you sit provides a great view of America’s favorite past time. Sit back, watch the game and enjoy tasty brews from Maine’s local brewing companies. And, yes, there’s yummy food to choose from whether you want BBQ, fried dough, or good old fashioned hot dogs and fries. But make sure to leave room for everyone’s favorite … the Sea Dog Biscuit … vanilla ice cream smack in the middle of two chocolate chip cookies! Entertainment surrounds the stadium from the game itself as well as appearances by Slugger the Sea Dog, the Trash Monster, and other fun activities between innings. And to end the night with a bang, often times there are fireworks that light

up the Portland sky. Maine’s Portland Sea Dogs isn’t just about baseball …it’s about good times, good food and great fun for everyone. So, if you haven’t been to the ballpark yet – this is a must “sea” and do for the summer.
