Maine Things To Do York Beach: White Sand, Amusement Rides & Wild Animals!
Posted by mainetodo on Wednesday, June 18 @ 18:51:45 PDT

Summer: Everyone loves the beach and York Beach is no exception. A popular vacation destination, the beauty of York Beach is that there is so much to do and discover in the area. York Harbor, York Beach, York Village and Cape Neddick are all areas that you must check out when going to York. The beach, it’s just beautiful with its miles of sand perfect for walking, swimming or just lying on the warm sand soaking up the sun. While you are on the beach be sure to walk over to the amusement park and enjoy some time playing the arcade games or grabbing a quick bite to eat that you can enjoy back on the beach. York Beach is also home to one of the largest wild animal zoos in all of New England. The kids will love the tigers and rides so be

sure to check it out. While you are in York you should definitely take a ride to Warren’s Lobster House just down the road in Kittery. Not only do they have fresh seafood but, they also boost the largest salad bar with more options than on most menus around! York also has a great golf and tennis club. The golf course is a beautifully scenic course which runs along the York River and is challenging for all levels of play. Take some time to discover why York Beach is such a popular vacation spot, you will be glad you did and you will have a new place you will want to return to summer after summer.
